JOURNEY TO MY HOMETOWN

My four days trip on my mothers hometown was a great and sad experience. Great because I enjoyed my journey to our province I saw some of my  kins  that I've lost connection for nine years, I was able to visit some historic places located in town.I witness the colorful event of Sangyaw Festival that was held during Fiesta. It feels good to reconnect the connection of the days of my childhood.

But my trip was not more of fun and enjoyment, it was also a time to pay a visit to my grand mother who is not feeling well. My Lola has a mild stroke, she can't stand on her own, most of the times she was just lying on her bed if not sitting on the sala of my Aunt.When we arrived there with my parents, Lola was crying she so happy to see us. I knew she misses us, especially my mother. My Aunt told us that when my Lola learned about our trip to the province, she was excited and she keeps on asking the time when my mother would come to their place. When I saw her, I could not hide my tears. Tears because I couldn't do something to ease her pain, our presence had given her a new strength, my Aunt says Lola's energy was different compare previous days that we have not yet arrive. I Thank God, for giving my Lola another chance to live, to enjoy us,I thank God for the life of my Lola. I do hope and pray  that even our time was limited ,God will continue to extend His grace and mercy on my Lola. I truly hope that on  our next vacation, My Lola would be able to walk back normally.
